Vintage: This 2017 vintage was a year of extreme weather conditions. It began with a very long and cold winter followed by an early budding in April. Unfortunately, the late frosts, which extended for weeks, left a great deal of damage and significantly reduced the yields. In May & June we had a long, dry period during the budding, whereupon a wet but cooler July to August. Our absolute salvation was the surprisingly warm and sunny September.

Wine Expansion: After hand-picking on 17 September, light mashing, maceration of 24 hours, spontaneous fermentation and full yeast storage in stainless steel tanks until August.
Description: The southern slope brings the sweet fragrance of squashed peaches, strawberry and some basil, with the stony minerality clearly recognizable. The fermented carbonic acid
